Worship

Services

8:00 a.m. - Traditional Service

We extend a warm welcome to those who prefer a more traditional worship liturgy and music selection. Our 8:00 a.m. service follows the traditional Lutheran style of praise and worship.  Service includes captivating sermons from our pastor, Pastor David Woolsey, as well as traditional hymns.

10:30 a.m. - Contemporary Service

Our 10:30 a.m. Sunday service is more of an blended style of praise and worship. Our worship band leads the musical selections, which include contemporary and hymnal music. The sermons are rich in Biblical teaching and often tied to personal experiences and every day life.

Communion is offered every 2nd and 4th Sundays during both services. Children's message on Sundays without communion.

Music Groups

Traditional Service Choir.
The traditional service choir at Faith Lutheran sings on non-communion Sundays and at all special services.

Following in the steps of Luther, traditional worship services at Faith feature hymns and liturgies reflecting Biblical thought and practice. Some traditional Lutheran hymns relate to the many seasons of the church year such as Advent, Epiphany, Lent, and Pentecost while others embrace themes such as Holy Baptism, the Lord’s Supper, Missions, Praise, Hope and Comfort. The Lutheran Service Book, copyright by Concordia Publishing House in 2006, forms the basis for Faith’s worship services and hymns.

Faith Praise Band.
Music is a central expression of worship. Whether the expression is traditional or contemporary, our hymns, anthems and praise music are lifted to God as we join together in praise.

The Praise Band leads worship at the 10:30 contemporary service. The band includes guitar, percussion, bass, keyboards and vocalists. The focus is on modern praise hymns, especially popular songs from Christian music charts.

Children and Worship

At Faith, we believe that children, even “active” ones, should attend worship services with their family. Parents are welcome to supervise their young children under 3 in the cry room during the service if they feel their child's behavior is disruptive. The cry room is wired for sound, so you and your child won't miss out on the service. We also offer a "Kid's Korner" resource center by the double-doors into the sanctuary. This is a place where kids can find coloring pages, activity pages, and children's Bibles.
