The heroin epidemic that rages among us is not only affecting the users themselves. For every ad-dict, there are dozens of others who must deal with the pain of this dreadful disease. And heroin isn’t the only addiction…alcoholism, gambling, pornography—all can be crippling to those consumed by them and the loved ones they touch. Addiction is a disease and as a disease it can be treated. While there are numerous avenues for treatment for the addict, there often isn’t much attention given to those suffering the collateral damage of addiction.
Families Anonymous is a program for anyone whose loved one suffers from any kind of alcoholism, substance abuse or other addiction.
